Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are the agreement between you and TC Market for using tcmarket.club. By creating an account or using the site you accept them. The Rules are part of these terms; if the two ever differ, these terms apply.

The Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and the Cookie Policy which cookies we use. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the site.

2. Who runs TC Market

TC Market is run by Mohamed Khayal (“we”, “us”). Three admins run it day to day. For anything about these terms, email privacy@tcmarket.club. For help with a trade, use Contact an admin on the site.

3. What TC Market is, and what it is not

TC Market is a place where Tibia players post offers for Tibia Coins (TC), game accounts and in-game services, agree trades in a chat on the site, record completed deals and rate each other. It is in English and built for computer browsers.

• The site processes no payments. It never holds money and never transfers money or coins by itself. Players pay each other outside the site, by methods they choose.
• No automatic escrow and no guarantee. Unless an admin acts as your middleman, we do not check that a player pays or delivers, or that a trade happened. We do not check that a listing is accurate. A completed deal on the site is a confirmation the parties or a middleman recorded, not proof of the transfer.
• Trades between members are between them. You decide whom to trade with and on what terms, and you trade at your own risk. Check the other member’s history and agree the amount, price, payment method and handover in the chat first.
• Verified means an admin knows and trusts that member. It does not guarantee any trade.
• We do not check whether a member trades as a private person or as a business. Unless the other member tells you they are a business, expect the trade to be one between private people: the consumer protection rules for buying from a business may not apply to it.

4. The optional middleman

In a chat between two members, either of you can press Ask for a middleman. An admin joins the chat when one is available; sometimes none is, and the site tells you so.

• The middleman is a person: the admin receives the agreed money or coins from one side and releases them to the other by hand, following the steps agreed in the chat.
• Agree the steps, the commission and who pays it with the admin in the chat before you send anything.
• Use the Admin badge in the site chat to identify the admin.
• The admin closes the deal as completed or cancelled.

5. Site offers

Offers marked Site are TC Market’s own offers, to buy or to sell. An admin handles each one for TC Market, so in that trade TC Market’s admins are the other party. Site offers never use a middleman, and admin accounts cannot open a chat about one. After a completed Site deal the member (the customer) rates TC Market, not an admin, and TC Market rates the member.

6. Who can use TC Market

You must be 16 or older. You confirm it once by ticking the required box “I confirm I am 16 or older.” You tick it on the email sign-up form, or the first time you sign in with Discord or Google, before you can use the site. If you joined before this rule, you confirm it once on your next visit. Do not create an account if you are under 16. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we close it.

7. Your account

• You can sign up with an email address and password, with Discord or with Google. An email sign-up works only after you click the link in the confirmation email.
• Your display name is 3 to 24 characters (letters, digits, spaces and underscores) and is not tied to a game character. Names that look official are refused, such as names starting with Admin, Moderator, Middleman, Support, Staff, System or TC Market. You can change it once every 30 days.
• Keep your password and your sign-in methods safe. Do not share your account. You are responsible for what is done with it. Tell us at once if someone else got in.
• To change your email address or delete your account, email privacy@tcmarket.club. There is no button for either; we do it by hand. The Privacy Policy explains what deleting means.
• Signing out signs you out on every device.

8. What you must not do

• Scam or deceive anyone, for example by not paying or not delivering what you agreed, or by showing a fake payment proof.
• Threaten, harass or abuse anyone.
• Pretend to be someone else, above all an admin, a middleman or TC Market itself.
• Post other people’s private details.
• Write a character name in an account listing.
• Leave fake or abusive ratings, or rate a trade that did not happen.
• Create another account to get around a ban, a warning or a limit.
• Spam: flood chats, or post repeated or misleading listings.
• Get around the site’s limits or security, read data you are not allowed to, or disrupt the site.
• Break the law.

Breaking these rules can lead to a warning, a hidden listing, a removed rating or a ban.

9. Listings, chats and deals

• TC offers say whether you buy or sell, the amount, the price (quoted per 250 TC) and up to 5 payment methods. Account listings give the level, vocation, world, skills, items and a price in TC, never a character name and no images. Services (EXP, Charm and Boss Points) can be posted only by members an admin approved as providers, and are priced in TC.
• You set your own prices; the site never calculates or checks them. Write only what is true. You are responsible for your listings.
• Limits: 10 open TC offers, 10 open account listings and 10 open services at a time; 20 chat messages a minute; 3 new chats a minute; 5 reports a day.
• A listing expires after 30 days without activity. You can renew it (or resume a service) from Settings.
• Admins can hide any listing that breaks the rules. Closed, expired, hidden and deleted listings are kept, not erased.
• Everything you post is plain text. Images can be attached only in chats.
• Every trade is agreed in a chat on the site, one trade per chat. The chat closes for new messages when the deal is completed or cancelled. Admins can read any chat.
• A deal is completed when one side presses Deal done and the other confirms, or when the middleman closes it. I have sent my side is your own statement, not a check by the site. Before either side has pressed it, either of you can cancel the trade; after that, only an admin can, after a review.

10. Ratings

• After every completed deal, both sides must rate each other before posting or renewing a listing, opening a new trade chat or starting a new deal. On a Site deal the member rates TC Market, and TC Market rates the member.
• A rating is 1 to 5 stars and an optional comment of up to 200 characters. Ratings are public and cannot be edited or answered.
• Rate honestly, and only about the deal.
• Admins remove a rating only when it breaks the rules, for example spam, threats or someone’s personal details, never because it is negative. An admin who took part in the trade cannot remove its ratings.

11. Reports, warnings and bans

• Use Report this user, or Report on a rating, with a reason of 10 to 500 characters. The admins review every report.
• An admin can send you a warning. It stays on every page until you press Understood, and reaches you on Discord too if you signed in with Discord or linked it, and are in the TC Market Discord server.
• An admin can ban an account. A ban blocks sign-in, hides the member’s open listings and stops them chatting. Their profile shows Banned and their ratings stay.
• These decisions are made by people, not automatically. The admins work by hand and may not catch every problem.

12. Your content

You keep the rights to what you post: listings, messages, images, ratings and reports. You must have the right to post it.

You give TC Market a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to store, copy, show and send your content as far as needed to run the site: for example showing your listings and ratings publicly, showing your messages and images to the people in the chat and to the admins, and sending notifications. It lasts as long as we keep the content under the Privacy Policy, including after your account is closed for what other members still see, such as ratings and chats.

13. Chat images

• You can attach up to 3 JPG, PNG or WEBP images of up to 5 MB each to a message.
• Only the people in that chat and the admins can see them. They have no public link.
• Upload only what the trade needs, such as a payment proof, and cover details the other side does not need.
• Images are stored exactly as you upload them, including hidden details a photo may carry, such as where it was taken.
• An image cannot be deleted once it is sent.

14. Tibia and CipSoft

TC Market is an independent site run by players. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by CipSoft GmbH. Tibia and Tibia Coins are trademarks of CipSoft GmbH.

You are responsible for your own game accounts.

15. No guarantees

We provide the site as it is and as available. It may sometimes be unavailable, change or have errors. Admins help by hand and may not be available when you need them. We do not promise that any member, listing or trade is what it seems.

16. Liability

As far as the law allows, TC Market is not liable for:

• losses caused by other members in trades between members, such as a member who does not pay or deliver;
• payments members make to each other outside the site, and the payment services they use;
• what happens to your game accounts, characters, items or coins in the game;
• indirect losses, such as lost profit or lost time.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, for example for fraud, for harm we cause on purpose, or rights you have as a consumer that cannot be taken away.

If you break these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against TC Market because of it, you are responsible for the reasonable costs, as far as the law allows.

17. Ending

• You can stop using the site at any time, and ask us to delete your account at privacy@tcmarket.club.
• We can warn or ban an account that breaks these terms or the Rules.
• We can stop running the site. We will say so on the site or on the TC Market Discord first where we can.
• What stays after an account ends, such as ratings and chats other members took part in, is described in the Privacy Policy.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. We will tell members about important changes on the site or on the TC Market Discord before they apply. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply to you. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
